I am a Research Associate Professor at the Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University. I received my Ph.D. in Design from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, in 2018, and my B.S. in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2012.
I lead the Sensing and AI-Engaged Living Lab (SNAIL Lab), where we study Embodied Affective Intelligence. A central question driving our research is: How do human emotions shape and regulate the cognition, decision-making, and interaction processes of embodied intelligent agents?
We investigate the dynamic coupling and co-evolution of human affective states and the cognitive, decision-making, and interaction processes of embodied agents in real-world settings. Our goal is to advance embodied agents' capabilities in affective understanding, adaptation, and empathy, establishing a new paradigm of embodied intelligence through embodied affective computing, affect-aware decision-making, and affective interaction. Our research spans a broad range of application domains, including embodied AI, smart homes, intelligent cockpits, smart classrooms, and embodied cinema.
