Xinyi Fu (付心仪)

Associate Professor, The Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University

I am a Research Associate Professor at The Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University. I received my Ph.D. in Design from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, in 2018, and my B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2012.
I lead the Sensing and AI-Engaged Living Lab (SNAIL Lab), where we study multimodal sensing, computing, and interaction in intelligent spaces. Our research develops an integrated sensing–computing–interaction framework for human-aware spatial intelligence, exploring how intelligent environments can continuously sense and understand human behavior, emotions and needs, and support proactive, adaptive, and trustworthy interactions through embodied intelligent agents, AI systems, and responsive environments. Our research contributes to a broad range of application domains, including smart home, digital mental health, embodied AI, smart campus, and aging.
We welcome applications on a rolling basis from outstanding candidates for postdoctoral, research assistants, and intern students.
